Setting and Plot
This is a Project K set role-play site. Project K is a manga and anime, this site is based more on the anime, both seasons and the movie, than the manga, with some manga knowledge thrown in carefully. The timeline is going to be slightly set aside from the anime to make this site possible, and to open more plot opportunities as the site progresses. Basic knowledge of the anime is helpful, however not required if I’ve managed to lay things out properly.
General oversight would be that there are seven chosen Kings that are granted rather amazing power, referred to as Aura. Kings are labeled as such; Silver, Gold, Red, Blue, Green, Grey and Colourless, often prefered to by numeral order as well as colour. Kings are assigned by the Dresden Slate, which is a rather mysterious stone of immense power, how it chooses Kings is currently unknown. A King can pass on lesser amounts of their power unto others, thus taking in people as ‘clan members’. Most often there is unrest among the Kings and the clans due to the power they wield, or their own ambitions. Listing of Kings and clans in existence are referred to in this post.
Location is Japan, on the island of Honshu, Kantō Region is the main setting of the boards, over all knowledge of the area is not needed as this is honestly a rp site based off an anime. The boards all have their general descriptions of what they are and gist of a layout for the region. Some of the areas are listed specifically for the plot, for certain groups or linking to past and possible future events.
Main time setting is slightly future set for technology mostly, as there are holograms in common public use for things like phones or animated signage, even as wallpaper in rooms. For the site timeline it is set pre second season, after the movie(Missing Kings) however, for the introduction of JUNGLE and the passing of the Gold King.
The only side-step taken for canon would be the fate of Mikoto Souh, as in first season he was slain to prevent a Damocles Down. For the site he ended up giving up his power before his sword fell, thus preventing the need of his death. With this action things shifted slightly, HOMRA did not drift apart as much as in the anime. There are members that drifted off due to lack of power reducing HOMRA to much that of a common gang, however the main members of the group stayed together. Anna Kushina did become the new Red King, however there was a time gap that the red clan did go without a King in power. At current HOMRA is pulling together with Anna as their King, however most of them still look to Mikoto.
Active Kings are slightly skewed by the site being set pre second season, so please keep this in mind. There are three current vacancies in King’s, the Gold and second king, the Gray and sixth King, and the Colourless and seventh King. These three positions will be filled, and are available by non-canon characters, more information is available in this post.
