Rules

01 | Please keep in mind that this site is PG-13, as per wishes of Proboards. That means there should be a heavy limit on mature themes on the site, if in question pause and possible ask for a second opinion.  

02 | When you have completed a thread, please have the thread starter add [COMPLETED] to the thread title, this way an admin knows to move it to the archives. 

03 | Please post in third person and in past sense for all in character threads. It just makes sense from if you go from one post to another and makes posts flow easier. 

04 | We have no set word could at the time being, however we are hoping for this to be a mid-level role play site, use your best discretion. If you are replying to a post that is a thousand words long then you should aim for around that area. 

05 | God modding is absolutely not allowed, regardless of the circumstances. We are all about fairness equality here, any injustice will be dealt with swiftly by the staff. Don't know what falls under 'god modding'? Here's a site to help you link

06 | The name you register with does not need to be your display name, however we ask that you change your display name to your character name. 

07 | Face claims are required here on Kingcraft, we ask that they be from a game, anime or manga, if you have a similar source feel free to bring it up! Original art is not allowed. Sharing of face claims is only allowed in the case of twins, and you need to consult with the original user of the face. Gender bends are allowed, however if the main original gender of the face claim is taken it is expected for the person holding that face claim to be approving of the gender-bend use. 

08 | Bios are allowed to be posted as you work on them, simply put (wip) in the title in some fashion so that it is easily noticed by staff. When you have completed your application reply to the thread and a staff member will review it as soon as possible. If there are any corrections required a staff member will send a message to that account. Before approval you are welcome to post in the plotting section or out of character threads. 

09 | Characters, even those without powers/abilities, need weaknesses and vulnerable points in their application for balance, no one is a perfect character. While describing the power(s), also describe the shortcomings, the range of certain aspects, things that can't be controlled, drawbacks, etc. Characters without weaknesses will be deemed overpowered and not accepted, so make sure a power is reasonable.

10 | We would love if you have the two main avatars for your accounts. The large one is set to be 200x350 in size, and the small one is 150x150 in size. Signatures are very welcome, please keep in mind the width of the site, if it stretches too much then you might be asked to resize, otherwise there is no currently set limit. 

11 | Keep in mind that this site is set through to follow the general set up of an anime/manga, there should not be thing that would be completely out of world for the [K] world. No flying cars, no oddities of races running around. On the same hand keep in mind this is basically a fan site set up for anime, there will be some differences and some bending of things to better work for plots. Head-canon ideas are not dismissed just because they are not proven canon, this is meant to be fun, events change characters so things will evolve. 

12 | Do not spam, advertise in, or bash the site/members of this site in the CBox. All advertising should be done in the forum designated for advertising. Please keep in mind this is the first thing that guests notice, free speech is expected and welcome, but be welcoming of guests. 

13 | Pornographic or gruesome images or links, are not allowed in the CBox. Please be respectful of all who role-play here, and keep the CBox clean. That means the chat box is to be kept PG-13 and welcoming to people glancing in.

14 | Keep the drama off the cbox, do not go bringing up delicate topics, again keep in mind everyone can see the cbox, it is the first representation of the site. Religion and politics are the two main things to just leave off the site.

13 | If you are running a canon character keep in mind that they are in fact a canon character. Head canon is understandable, everyone has their own slight differences in understanding a character. Events can change a character just as well. However there is a difference in saying a character dislikes cats compared to a character hates someone that is shown to be a friend of their's in canon setting. Now if there was a thread that happened between the characters this is of course an event that has happened. Unprecedented twisting of a character however is generally frowned upon. 

14 | It is asked that if you are running a canon character that you do a in-character post with them at least once every three months to keep them active. There is a chance that someone else might have interest in running a character if they are not used. After three months of disuse a staff member will message the member running the canon character and farther action will be discussed from there. 

15 | There are canon and non-canon Kings, there is a difference between the two. Non-canon kings are going to be new to the fold of things, you cannot have a non-canon king sweep in that has a power base set up and automatically knows everyone and everything. That is not how the world works. Now if things are set up where the character has friends that can step into being clan immediately that is welcome, but over all new kings are expected to be just that, new.

16 | Members running Kings are expected to keep their King active, the King is basically going to be just that, a King. They do over see their clan members. Meaning as a King that character should have some set up of power base with their clan. The member playing the King is expected to have up a plotting thread for their clan in the Subdivisions section. It is up to you to keep things going, mini plots for your clan, recruitment of new clan members even. 

17 | If you are running a clan member then you are expected to remember that your character is under a King, there should be a general respect for their King. One would hope that the character would interact and get along with their own clan and King, they are beholden to their King, and their King is above them in power.
