Nagare Hisui
Green | 25 | Asexual
Full name: 比水 流, Hisui Nagare
Gender: Male
Occupation: Jungle Server Admin
Home: Jungle Headquarters
Territory: If you ask him a bit of everywhere, but technically the tunnels
Appearance:

••••••
Hair: Generally a dark green tone and messy, the longest strands go past his ears but not touching his shoulders, most often with bangs covering his left eye. On the rare occasions he unleashes his power his hair goes pure white in colour.
Eyes: Blue, minus the times he unleashes his aura and then his left eye goes green, depending on output of power his pupils might go slited.
Height: Five foot and nine inches
Weight: 132lbs
Unique Features: Well some might consider that he is dead to be rather unique. Mostly though it is that Nagare contains his aura, when it is unleashed it bleaches out his hair and colours his left eye green. When in higher power levels there is a visible green orb of power where his heart should be.
Body: On first glance it is rather clear that Nagare is not in the best health, as is to be expected given he spends his time in a wheelchair. One could be generous and say that he is simply of lean build, maybe a dancer's build even. Blunt fact however is that he is unhealthily underweight and without an ounce of fat on his bones. This leaves him looking almost stretched over his frame, with long limbs and thinly set joints, looking delicate really. His shoulders are his widest point, slim set and more pointed than rounded. Hips are inset and leave his legs with an exaggerated length. He is pale in skin tone, a light ivory that shows his lack of going outside often.
Clothing Style: What most will ever see Nagare in could be seen as tatters and likely think he broke out of an asylum or hospital. Which to be fair he is not dressed for fashion but more so necessity. He is retrained a long straight-jacket that keep his arms and hands contained and hidden. The jacket is a darker tan with black straps, silver rivets if you want to get fancy with the description. For shoes he wears black strappy sandals that go to his ankle. Nagare does sit in a wheelchair that is mostly white in colour with blue around the wheels and black accents. It is higher tech in appearance with various buttons along the sides and a tablet mounted across the front for his use.
When Nagare has to he can exert the power to be mobile for limited periods, in which case he is seen to prefer a white gown. It is long sleeved and gathered at the wrists, falls to his ankles loosely for movement. There is black threading at the shoulders with a gap of fabric and the gown overall ties in the back via black threading, done up much like a petticoat. He wears a scarf that is tied uneven and trails past his waist, shoes remain the same.

Likes:
- the advancement of technology in the modern world has made keeping up on the times rather convenient
- intelligent conversation with open minded individuals, preferably those that listen and converse back
- the trust and easy camaraderie he has with the J level clan members, the almost passive loyalty that brings them together
- the cold logic of computer coding that can be laid out in lines upon lines of coding to make a final result that is perfect
- how very easily manipulated the masses are towards goals that are not their own, dangle a prize and people are willing to do almost anything for it
- a well written book laid out in such a way to keep the reader captivated and guessing what comes next in the plot
- the chances he has at cutting loose on power and potential, to stretch his legs sort to say, use of his sanctum is refreshing in limited bursts
- meeting new people of all types and on all sides of matters, for or against his ideals it is always interesting to meet new players to the game
- the raw power of a thunderstorm overhead, with storm clouds blocking out the sky and rain washing over the world as a backdrop for the cutting edge of lightening
- the empty anonymous availability of the internet provides him with an escape route when he feels the need to withdraw, or even to reach out socially
Dislikes:
- plans being ruined by folly of others that could have been prevented if the proper steps had been taken
- being outright ignored or spoken over will forever make him sigh at people
- those that think they know his mindset after a short interaction or by going off pointless context clues
- the hording of power from the masses to create imbalance in the world where those weaker have no chance to becoming stronger
- being forced to hide away like he has done something horribly wrong in the world when all he has done is introduce an ideal, how people react to it is outside of his control after all
- those that would attempt to hack <jungle> for outside information and use, betraying the system is not tolerated
- going weeks at a time without seeing open sky make him quietly moody and draw farther into himself
- betrayal is something that he is highly against, however it has to be from someone that he extended trust to, so really only J rank members, once welcomed he ignores all past but he does expect loyalty
- those that are willfully ignorant and blind to the world around them and rather live trapped in their mindless bubbles
- those hours that people sleep, alas being dead Nagare does not physically require sleep, he will have times he seems to in a sense 'power-nap' but he is never really asleep. So when those around him sleep is is left mostly to wander online.
Strengths:
- often underestimated due to physical limitations, people see the wheelchair and assume he is lacking or weak
- mentally very cunning and always has plans thoughts out out several steps ahead, reactions and possibilities both are considered equally
- does not bother with attachments to those lower clansmen than J rank, oh he will monitor them, but their losses over all do not affect him and he will use them as pawns as need be
Weaknesses:
- physically kept alive by the power of the Dresden Slate, he cannot exhaust his power without dying, and so he stays wheelchair bound and contained for his own safety
- tends to be too analytical in his processes, prefers a logical reasoning over an emotional one, rather base things off results than what might be morally correct
- mostly dependent on Kotosaka, a green parrot that is in fact a green clansmen. Nagare uses him to see and speak through in the outside world
Fears/Secrets: Being left by his closest J Ranked clan members would be one of his fears, to be left alone without what has amounted to his family.
Habits:
- tends to keep his bangs over his left eye and does not bother to mess with his hair over all
- will offer small closed mouth smiles in moments of silence or when he simply has nothing to say
- will wander the underground tunnels at random hours, literally wander when likely he should be staying wheelchair bound, even he gets restless on occasion though
- multitasks on his tablet most of the time, leaving him flipping through topics and ideas with very little connecting bridge
- will ask others their emotional opinions on matters to try to gauge where he is falling morally on decisions, but does not let that be a deciding factor
Personality: Nagare easily comes off as calm and soft spoken, rather open to conversation and even willing to answer questions about his plans to those in his clan and those outside of it. He likes conversation with almost anyone, willing to touch on any topic really, pointless and drifting or plot heavy and possibly upsetting to others. Tends to face things much in the same calm manner, in times of peace or in stressful situations. He is bluntly honest which can work against him because he does not bother with white lies, if someone asks something they rather not have the answer to Nagare will answer truthfully. Rarely changes his mind on anything, but he does decide things carefully and often with research into the matter instead of on whim or emotional drive. Highly intelligent and cunning it should not be a surprise that he can be manipulative, putting people in situations where they take the outcome he wants.
Nagare believes in equality in the same way he uses people, it is a careful balance really. He sees those with power as being equal, to a point, mostly for those in his own clan it would be J ranked that he considers equal with him. It is not so much because of power though as much as intelligence and their drive that got them to J rank. Intelligence to him is more powerful than sanctum granted from the Dresden Slate. That is why he has no issues in using those around him to further his goals, they are peons and should be aware of it, he does not hide that he considers them as peons even, but they all have the equal chance of proving themselves. He praises those that can think outside of the box, even within <jungle> because they show fortitude and cunning. In the case of those that are against him he rather an intelligent adversary than someone he can easily walk over because that would just make things boring.
The oddity that some might find in his thought pattern is that he does consider most things to be a game in a sense. There is a final goal that he has to in a sense 'win', and everything till then are simply steps to be cleared. It is why he does not mind using others to further his goals or to take out adversaries.
Background:
••••••
••••••
Birthplace: Southern Kanto Region, Japan
Family: He lost his family due to the Kagutsu Crater Incident
History: Raised mostly by his mother Nagare was taught strict manners and that emotions were over all useless, that is was best to put forward a smile and take things in calmly. So while outsiders might have viewed the family as almost cold there was real love between them. They were soft spoken and kept to themselves, as a result Nagare has few friends growing up, but he applied himself in school. Often lead him to being labeled as a bookworm and his quiet personality only had him accepting it without pause. He did enjoy video games, and that earned him a few close friends once that came out, which oddly lead to his death.
Nagare was at a friend's house the day of the Kagutsu Crater Incident, for a newly released video game, and thus closer to the center of the blast than he would have been at home. With the fall of the red sword the area of devastated and everyone in a 100km radius died. Nagare was spared by the slate, chosen as the new Green King. Weak and injured Nagare was picked up by local rescue teams with the few survivors found. It was during rescue that a green parrot was discovered injured and Narage managed to gain pity enough to keep the bird, if simply so he would have company for his weeks of hospitalization. This parrot ended up being named Kotosaka and in fact was his first clansmen, if by accidental happening.
It was while hospitalized that Nagare started the base coding for what would become the <jungle> community forum, in an attempt to reach out to the world. Through computers he learned more about what had happened, and in a sense what was happening with him, and he changed the original purpose of <jungle>, adding secondary layering and mission application to the server. He was angry at the cause of everything, that those powerless had no chose but to lay down to those with power, saw it as unfair that there were those like him randomly chosen to live. Upon being released from the hospital Nagare retreated from the world, having little interest in a world full of lies when he would work behind the scenes and try to create a balance.
His time and effort was placed into building up <jungle> servers, so that not only was it a wealth of information but that it's influence started to spread into government offices. Information controls, and where that fails the offer of a hint of power does just as well to make everyone on the same level. Over time there have been a few individuals that have shown drive to rank up high enough that Nagare offered invitation for them to meet him face to face. The first few were blind and almost useless to him, unseeing of this ideals and alas they did not last long in the upper branches of <jungle>. It took some changing of things to make it harder to reach J rank, that only those of certain mindset and drive could reach so high, thus leaving him his current clan.
Clan and Aura:
••••••
••••••
Clan Setup: Jungle is run and controlled through an online application available through a public PDA app. To the main masses it is an open use communication forum with the option of joining the mission ranking system. It those that join the mission ranking system that are technically a member of the clan, in the loosest sense of the word. Unlike most clan setups most of the clan will never meet their King, and likely do not even understand that they have a King in the first place. Most clan members are simply in it for the points they can gain from completing missions, these points are used in a few ways. Members can amass points towards power earned, in which they gain limited green aura, or high society functions in the real world. A member might be more interested in rubbing elbows with the higher class for a chance at furthering their own personal goals, or they could be in it for the game play and power. Missions are varied in nature, they might be as simple as informational postings, keeping up on rumors or filling in blanks on what companies are doing. They can range to violence in harassing another clan, bullying a business or if possible outright murder. Missions are assigned by Nagare and by follow J rank members.
Ranks are broken up by point levels, all users start at E rank, and ranks move forward by letter to form the word jungle. A failed mission deletes all points earned and takes any granted power thus far, meaning if they are caught they will be handed over to the regular police to handle instead of Scepter 4.
J - 120,000 points
U- 90,000
N- 55,000
G- 30,000
L- 10,000
E- Starting
E Rank only have the ability of small radius bombs, the explosion covering about a five foot diameter, as well access the holographic helmets used to hide their identity while on riskier missions.
L Rank starts getting into electric based power, with their power being granted through their PDA's, they can so short ranged electric attacks. Helpful for shorting out computer systems more than causing physical harm, as they cannot imbued anything else with aura yet.
G Rank can however imbued objects with aura, this will strengthen the item and cause it to deliver an electric shock on contact, it is still able to be countered by normal means, this just adds an extra force to the imbued item.
N Rank members can shift the physics on small handheld items, making it possible to phase things through a wall, or make something intangible for a few seconds. This can be helpful in combat as this is a ranged ability up to five feet, so can turn someone's attacking weapon intangible and thus no longer a risk. It is limited to one item affected at a time.
U Rank members are able to phase through walls or floors, even walk up the side of a building, completely ignoring the laws oh physics. What weapons they can charge with aura are more powerful and only blockable at this point by someone else with aura.
J Rank members will receive an invitation to meet Nagare upon leveling up and from there what they may get is discussed between them and their King.
Clan Goals: To create a equal world. Well in short anyway. Nagare finds distaste in how there are Kings that are absolute and that there are those randomly chosen by the Dresden Slate for power. He seeks to level the playing field for all, to give everyone equal chance at power to succeed or fail by their own merits and not by who has power handed to them and who does not. So the goal would be to gain physical control of the Dresden Slate and remove it from being controlled.
Aura Description: Green. Which is technically correct, <jungle> is green, their abilities have a lovely green glow. The main power of the green clan is in fact inducing electricity, over all power-base is offensive capabilities, being able to direct electric attacks and imbued weapons with aura. Higher ranked members can output aura into devastating attacks that are hard to stand up to unless going against another sanctum. Physic manipulation is rumored being due to the green king being considered the Ever-Changing King, a side affect in fact of Nagare being dead and the slate having to bend power to keep him alive.
The ability to create or change items is possible, however rare as this ability does take more of a strain on Nagare, so he limits the ability to phasing among N rank and higher. J rank can negotiate with him for more ability in this range, however most seem content with phasing and that minor thing of ignoring gravity.
The green clan is able to combine aura into more powerful aura attacks, if members were to team up together, just as J rank can siphon energy from lower ranks to create horrifying attacks. All in all the main point is that most energy draw from Nagare is constant and simply reassigned as need be to not create a heavy burden on him.
Clan Description: <JUNGLE> is the every growing and changing green clan. Run through an online communication forum and open to the public <jungle> is wide spread and welcoming of new members. Those with higher ambitions, those simply wanting to be apart of something larger, or those with goals of their own are all welcome to the branches of <jungle>.

Hmm likely he should have left a note before leaving, given there was only only a fifty percent chance that Kotosaka would in fact bother to inform anyone where he had gone. It was a chance taken at this point, Nagare was not going all the way back to take the time to do a note and then come back out again. It would lessen his available time for this little excursion and give others the option of either tagging along or bringing up the simple fact that his going out was foolish at best. A game ender at worse. He was aware of the possibilities and had taken the necessary steps needed to grant him peace of mind. Likely right now the Blue's were distracted by the handful of missions that had been put up to garner attention. Harmless mind games and actions for the lower ranks to take up some points but also spread out the Blue's attention. Left him an open path to step out for a bit. A short trip, rarely done for him but more often than some might think. Nagare could bring up dozens of studies to back the need for open air and real interaction with the world, studies and papers conducted that all basically said the same thing. Truthfully he did not care so much about that, it was all just facts that he could use if questioned, but in the end his reasoning was much more simple than any statistic could say.
"Oh, thank you." Soft words that were only met with a nod, and likely the L Rank did not even realize who exactly they had just opened a gate for, simply cared that it did earn them points, as their PDA ever so happily chirped at them now. By the time that they did think to question why they had needed to be at this particular door at a certain time Nagare had already left, though visual clues should fill in some of the blanks. The door was secured by the <jungle> server but that did not help the iron gate that normally sat over this particular door would be a hardship for someone wheelchair bound. This was not meant to be a trip to stand out and gather attention after all, there was no reason to extend himself when he had others willing to help. Being put onto open streets was in fact the best way to blend in most of the time, and this time of the day had been planned perfectly. Just busy enough that no one would look twice, too caught up in their own lives and places to be, but with room for maneuverability to not hinder him.
The timing and place were of course planned, but the whole reasoning for the plan was something less set in stone, as mother nature did tend to follow her own schedule. Which meant the first drops of rain fell before the forecast had figured for and Nagare paused to glance up with a hum and a blink at the darkening clouds over head. Those around him much did the same, with a few hurrying their steps to try to outrun the coming rain. There was little point in hurrying at this point so he only turned to a closer tea shop than the one he had wanted and waited for someone kind enough to hold the door for him. Inside was not his goal, but he had learned in a previous visit that apparently it was rude to take up space without at least ordering something. It was while ordering, “Mint tea with just a dollop of honey please”, that the clouds truly opened up their torrent of rain, only one last person managing to slide through the door mostly dry.
Order placed Nagare headed back outside, this time to the covered patio, because really the best place to be would in fact be outside. The storm was his entire reason of going out today of all days, he would hate to miss it by sitting inside of a tea cafe. That he was the only one that chose to take his drink outside simply worked out better for him. It meant that when the worker brought his cup Nagare politely declined need for anything else and then was left in peace. The tea cup went untouched and over all unwanted, but again there were manners to see to. Nagare took a breath, the air always took a completely new scent in a storm, more than just rain, there was the slight sharpness of electricity in the air. A quality that he often missed underground, for all he could watch storms from any number of cameras, it was never the same as being outside. This was worth the small measured risk of coming out, the peacefulness of an afternoon storm and watching the world reborn in a wash of rain and boom of thunder.
